Wheel Alignment vs. Structural Chassis Alignment
Standard wheel alignment adjusts the angles of the tires (Camber, Caster, and Toe) relative to the suspension arms. However, if the underlying steel unibody frame is twisted or knocked out of position during a curb hit or collision, adjusting suspension bolts will only mask the problem temporarily.
Symptoms of Hidden Frame Damage
- Vehicle drifts or pulls sideways even after fresh wheel alignment.
- Uneven tire tread wear occurring rapidly on inner or outer edges.
- Unequal gaps between body panels, doors, or hood lines.
- Creaking or squeaking sounds coming from the floorboards over bumps.
